MING 37.04 Monopusher Chronograph

MING just announced a new "Special Projects Cave" piece, using a very interesting chronograph movement that was originally designed by FP Journe, V Halter and D. Flageollet (De Bethune). The guilloche dial was executed by Comblemine (Voutilainen) but also has their typical sapphire elements.

Very cool and very pricey. I am sure it will sell out

Cool front side. Potentially cool reverse but wish the annular segment on the back was thinner and didn’t hide as much. Reminds of an AP reverse on diver almost.

Looks really cool! Not $30k cool, but $12k to maybe $15k max imho. Congrats for their well-earned anniversary. Dial side is great, but the movent looks like too many different non-joined styles so lacks visual harmony imho.

For that price, I can't rationalize it. A few more grand get you a VC manual chrono too?

I like it, just not at 30k. At 30k, so many options including a VC 7900v, ALS 1815 Up/Down, etc..

That movement looks ridiculously small in that case. Not for me.

Thx. Ming is truly great on dials, he should hire Kari V (or ???) for the movement side decoration / harmony. If Ming got the movement right, this coulda been a $30k timepiece. As is she's $12k to $15k imho

Food For Thought: For ~$12k you can get a custom-made Torstri Laine.

Movement has cool history, don't think the price is super outrageous considering people are paying over $30k for a stupid daytona

Good looking watch, but man, that price is a tough one to swallow.

Shame the movement doesn't fit the case, missed opportunity here.
