First Panerai!
Hey guys, picked up this PAM 779 via trade and loving it so far. The arabic dial, 8 day reserve, and super clean dial really appealed to me. I'm embarrassed to say I overlooked the fact that it's a manual wind and was really confused why it was stopping overnight the first couple days
I'm also getting a new strap, the orange is a bit much for me. |

Very nice, congrats! Too funny about the movement.
The brown Jules Verne (JV) OEM strap could look great on that one. |

Congratulations
When I wear mine for a stretch, I just give it about 15-20 winds each morning. It’s a nice way to enjoy your watch |

I like the overall Panerai aesthetic, but I also like clean dials so it was nice to find one with no logos or text. I've always been a fan of Arabic dials as well. At 44mm it's big, but not ridiculous. I see these 47-48mm Panerais and there's no way I could pull it off.

Very nice and clean, nice accents on the watch. What's interesting is that you will not know what kind of watch that is unless you know the DNA of Panerai which is the crown protector. Very cool!
