925 Opinions

I've been considering a 925; one has become available at an AD I frequent. Curious as to what other's experience has been with this watch? Also I'm leaning towards the leather strap but really would like both; anyone own both. I guess I should be able to order the cloth through the AD as well.

I had to watch, the proportions were great, love the look of the silver. Sold the watch as I didn’t like the display case back . It makes it sit a little higher on the wrist and I found it rocked. Other than that it fits like a BlackBay 58.

It does wear a little taller as above. I don’t think it was a dealbreaker for me however. Definitely the right move to get on the leather with the deployant. Slightly better value than the fabric. As above, maybe see if you can get the fabric thrown in.

Very nice unique metal watch. Most have good things to say about this model.

Buy the leather. It is more expensive to acquire afterwards. This was the advice from my AD.

I was in an AD yesterday and they had one available on the leather strap. It’s really stunning in person. Much better than in pictures. I agree the leather is the way to go. The SA told me they would throw in the strap if I bought it.
I think it’s a little small for my 7.25-7.5 inch wrist. Or I probably would have bought it.

It’s a great looking watch.

One of the best Watches I’ve ever owned. Sterling silver. Amazing wrist presence. Open case back. Crazy bright night long loom.

I really like this watch and have considered purchasing one. They are readily available at both AD’s close by. It’s just the tarnishing issues. Tudor said they won’t tarnish. But they do. Any opinions on this?

I'm a fan of the watch, but like how either of the strap options felt.

how is the bezel action? comparable to the Submariner? (hopefully no play / alignment issues?) it would be especially sweet if they designate it as METAS certified master chronometer, plus a silver bracelet option.

I'd go for it, Lee. Yes, they tarnish but can still be polished like any silverware. Fabric strap is 300ish max.

Below from last year's presentation at my AD.

Hi Lee,
I almost pulled the trigger on this very piece about a week ago. It caught my eye immediately and my (our) AD held one back for me. However I’m going to pass because I’m not crazy about the tarnish look over time and the somewhat softer metal may or may not be an issue…

Tried at the AD Lee, nice watch. My only regret is the lack of a metal bracelet

As said by others prob would buy on leather and add NATO later

It’s a special watch. The way the silver reflects light is like nothing else. Owned for about a year now, no tarnish issue for me.

It's nice and saw two or three dealers in Vegas with them in stock.
