Should Rolex make Subs more rare

So they aren't so common?

What the h*** for? It's their bread and butter.
When something has been in production for 60 consecutive years, it won't be exactly rare.

they thought about it replacing it with the yacht master when it first debuted. they dodged a bullet there.

They are not rare, but they are scarce.

Depends on whether you have one or not. It's a mass produced item, but still rare/expensive enough to be aspirational already (I don't see them changing this as not to upset brand image and exclusivity)

There has been plenty to go around this entire time. It all was dumped to the grey market for profit but thats all changing by the hour.

Most of the world lives on less than 10 bucks a day. They are plenty rare, just not in your circles.

I feel like subs are a dime a dozen. I see them everywhere. If I’m playing golf, there are 4-5 guys wearing subs in the bar. They couldn’t do anything to make them rare, or uncommon at this point. Too many of them out there.

Like others have said, "WHY??" It's already hard enough to get in it's current market so how much harder do you want it to be?

Plus, the Sub is one of Rolex most iconic watches for over 50 yrs now.

Good point. Getting pretty tired of seeing so many of them for sale at the AD.

They aren't rare at all. They are absolutely everywhere to the point of being one of the most common watches possible.

You just can't buy them at retail.

Rolex seems to exercise good judgement in their business decisions, at least in the long haul.

I guess it’s the mentality of the crypto/NFT generation; it’s all about artificial scarcity
