16550 Dial Faded Text Opinion

Can I have some expert's opinion about the dial of this watch.
The text seems to be fading is it normal.

what is a reasonable price for this watch?

It shouldn't be fading like that, not sure why.

The one that was sold recently on Tropical watch for $19k, I think it was reasonable price.

If people are paying a premium for tat kind of damage, I don’t think it’s a good idea.

Yeah, this is a tough one because it's a rail dial and somewhat cream. I don't get the hype on these, but there is plenty of hype.
