Are these OK Warranty Papers for a 1972 Rolex 5513?

Hi all!

I am searching for a 5513 from very early 1970s, and of course any "papers" are a bonus.

I know that not all early Rolex came with "punched" papers.

Would you consider these warranty papers to be OK for this 5513? It was purchased at a watch store in Okinawa. The serial number is handwritten and the watch store is ink-stamped (round stamp in upper right), as well as hand written.

It also comes with green serial hang tag with a matching hand-written serial number.

Curious to get any thoughts from experts!

Some vintage papers were indeed handwritten, and Japanese papers were often different than other regions. Hard to know whether these are legit, but I wouldn’t pay extra for them.

Why is the serial number crossed out?

The warranty booklet could be found from the very late 1960s to very early 1970s. It was used for a very short time. It is not unusual to see them hand written but most had punched numbers for the serial number as well as the model number which sometimes could be found next to the serial number.

The warranty booklet in the photos below happens to be from the very late 1960s and has hole punched serial and model numbers. Also, you'll notice the chronometer certificate is hole punched too.

Okinawa, Japan was returned to Japan from the U.S. on May 8, 1972.

The warranty card in the photo shows August 2, 1972 at HACHIMINE WATCH STORE, so perhaps the watch did not come from Rolex Japan, but was wholesaled to a watch store in Okinawa via the U.S.

I believe that the watch was probably sold by this watch store.

Punched papers are definitely preferable, and more persuasive when provided in addition to any handwriting within the warranty booklet.
