You should be able to get a TT Daytona within a year from an AD without a purchase history. Keep the sub, sell the DJ if necessary.

Keep Sub, sell DJ for the tt Daytona. It will make the best collection in the end anyway.

Agreed, I do love the sub and don't like the idea of letting it go.
The allure of being offered the Daytona has bitten me and i need to talk myself out of that mindset. I think I'll have to pass, save and keep both. The DJ is a perfect dress watch for me, the iconic flutes bezel is everything Rolex to me. The TT Daytona will hopefully come again fingers crossed

No way. Keep the Submariner. Wait patiently for a two-tone Daytona to come in to your dealer.
Didn't see your post above. Glad you didn't do the trade. Don't rush things. It isn't as easy to replace that Submariner.
