Benson vs. Wolf Watch Winders

I know plenty about Wolf and they are considered one of the best. I recently came across the brand Benson which look quite nice as well. I’m looking to add a double winder with storage for a few extra to have in the wear rotation. Looking at:

Wolfe Axis Double Watch Winder with Storage
https://www.wolf1834.com/axis-double...-storage#93=23

Or

Benson Black Series 2.16.B
https://us.bensonwatchwinders.com/co...ck-series-2-16

Anyone have experience with either and have any thoughts you can share?

Thanks!

Bad experience with Wolf, chose Orbita instead, never heard of Benson.

Welcome to the forum.

I have never heard of Benson. I have had no issues with Wolf. I won't buy Wolf regular price. Amazon has some good deals.

My wife has one on a Wolf winder, works fine and silent.

I fall in the camp where I see no point to a winder and enjoy setting a watch that has been sitting a while. I do not believe a watch constantly running is bad, nor do I believe one that sits a while does harm either. I would rather just set my watch when it stops and do not see the value in an expensive winder. But for my wife, it is very convenient and she does.

I had a Wolf, then bought a Rapport. The Rapport is much nicer.

Best watch winders in the world most have two called wrists and what watches were designed for,and not sat on a machine winder thing. Its not a real effort to wind and reset takes all of 30 seconds to do.

Benson vs. Wolf Watch Winders

Thanks everyone for your feedback. It’s appreciated. Agree that two wrists are the best winders, but sometimes it’s just nice to be ready to wear…

If anyone has any further feedback, please don’t hesitate to share…
