I Heart Rolex

Bought my first one a week ago.....bought my second one today. I'm so done. No more EVER I mean it Well maybe a little down the road

Anyway, what color is the lume supposed to be (when its glowing) on my GMT C V series? Also The second Rolex I bought is a 1991 Date Just TT. Should I take it to my AD and have them service it? Should I wear it and see how it runs?

I seriously doubt it. These are tough watches. You'd probably have more trouble with sand/ salt water and the bezel than inclement weather. Although there's a recent post by Colnago where the II-c survived a beach outing

Congratulations! You have a nice pair.

And good luck on keeping it just 2.

See how the DJ runs before you have it serviced, it might have already been serviced. As for "no more", that feeling will pass in a couple of days. Now some pic's please.

MY friend i put my TT black sub in a deep freezer overnight and it was still running, the deep frezer just for the record was -50 degrees below zero.

These are some of the toughest watches on the planet

Mega tough would be an understatemet.....I was a very keen racing cyclist for many years, I wore a DateJust for all races....and during training.......inevitably accidents happen, some falls can be nasty (and very painful!!).....my black dial DateJust has seen the most action, here's a before and after shot after one particularly nasty crash.....new crystal, hand set and dial......and straight back into service....these watches are hard as nails....
