Double reference in 79200 oyster brazelet? Help!
Hello there!
I am looking for an oyster bracelet for my 126710BLRO (originally with jubilee bracelet) in order to have the possibility to choose between one or the other depending on the occasion. I have found a guy who has changed it for a jubilee and he is offering me his oyster one. I asked him for pics to check the reference but there are two refs on each side, is it possible? Could any of you help me to clarify if this is really an original 79200 or what is the explanation? Thank you very much and kind regards. |

Skip it. I have an Oyster bracelet for my Pepsi and the endlink codes both say 79200. The 78800 is from the Yachmaster 40. So that's a franken bracelet. One half from a GMT the other from a Yachtmaster.
You should be able to buy the Oyster 79200 directly from Rolex. Ask your AD. |

I bought a spare Oyster 79200 early last year. I like my BLRO on the Oyster more than the Jubilee. I hear the ADs are having a time ordering the spare bracelets now. Ended up buying a 126710 BLNR on Oyster, so I swapped the bracelets on the two. I like the Jubilee on the BLNR for some reason as compared to the BLRO.

Everything solved, it was a mistake with the mixed pics between two different brazelets. Of course, both have the same reference in each of them but one comes from a GMT and the other one from a Yatch Master.
So this topic can be closed. Thank you all for your support. |

Yes, pass on it. As others have mentioned you have 2 different part numbers . It could be just the end link? But why risk it. Rolex has stopped selling bracelets because they claim they are being used to modify original bracelets the piece came with for resale . They may allow you to buy only the bracelet the watch came with from the factory and keep your old one?
Rolex says that this is to combat the exchanging of parts , bezels, dials ,and bracelets. Try a few ADs some have them in stock and will sell them to you, if they have to order it must be matched to the original only and get Rolex approval. Good luck, |

Each separate half of the bracelet does have its own stamp so it is possible for somebody to mix rather than match, but it would be unusual.

Thank you guys. I went yesterday to my AD and they told me that now Rolex is only allowing to order the other bracelet once the warranty has expirated. But fortunately, I have found an oyster bracelet close to my city and, if everything goes well, I will have it next week.
Thank you all! |
