Cubitus incoming

Yesterday was collection day. I love the look of the piece on the wrist but it’s certainly not small. For me, despite being thicker, the strap version in PT wears smaller than the SS and TT versions and ultimately was my choice. The new instantaneous day/date/moonphase movement is stunning in action, I’ve always loved instantaneous calendar pieces. Sure the piece is marmite but I urge people to at least try it on their wrist before judging.

Congrats! I like the platinum reference quite a bit - the strap, the dial layout, the movement . . .

Congratulations that's quick! The 5822 looks good on your wrist to be honest. The heft is nice too. Just saw the inside of the box - and there is covering on the metal.

Congratulations to getting this piece so soon.
I like this model vs the other 2 bracelet models.
Would certainly add to my collection if given a chance.
Enjoy and wear it in good health.

Cheers

Congratulations- very quick. I liked the 5822 the best when trying on at AD, initially was definitely a hater but especially this platinum model is pretty nice. It definitely works in real life.

Fair play, it's brilliant. I'd 100% buy and wear that bad boy and 100% PP will prove the haters wrong!

Congratulations, Russell! Great choice and wrist shot.
I don’t see any comments about it being too big on your wrist (because it isn’t), and I expect your choice will have positive ripple effects on opinions.

Looks great.

Were you forced to agree to buy another strap (non sports) watch?

A bit like this:- ‘Buy one more strap watch (non sports) you don’t want and we’ll put you on the Cubitus list where you may be located one.’ WTF!

I don't think any AD will say that to an owner of a minute repeater and multiple other grand complications

Haha what a joke.. I hope no one puts up with these AD games. I’m glad someone who genuinely likes the piece has been allocated one. Already see so many folk trying to flip them. Daft.
