New IWC Portugieser 358304

I purchased this new from an AD at a considerable discount, so I presume it is a discontinued model, but it looked good to me at the price, so I pounced. 40mm. Display back.

The numbers and the strap are a dark blue.

Nice

BTW, it's a current reference still in the IWC catalog.

That’s a classy watch right there. I’ve always had a soft spot for one of these.

If you don’t mind me asking. Did you barter for the discount?

I was in an AD. After I tried on the watch, they told me it was 20% off. They said it was discounted recently, then not, then discounted. As someone who enjoys a good sale, I pulled my credit card. I thought the sale was temporary.

I was in an IWC boutique a few days ago. Same watch was there, no discount. I did not say anything about my recent purchase. I did not want to get the AD in trouble.
