Question as a n00b seller

Hi all, I'm a long time lurker but newer member with not a lot of posts.

I'm looking to sell my watch. I'm guessing it might be difficult to sell here given I'm newer?

Is there any sort of certification I can do to help with that?

You can just ship first and get wire when buyer receive. That is usually what happens as a seller who has no reputation or shop. Even then, as a buyer, I would want to know where the watch was purchased, its history, etc.

Thanks for the reply. What's to stop me from getting scammed and not receiving payment?

People will not take the risk and if they do, it’s because there is a reward attached to it. E.g. very low price.

If you want to build credibility, sell it to a trusted dealer that’s willing to buy. You’ll take a hit but you’ll also get instant feedback that holds a little bit of weight.

Nothing. Best to require payment before shipment. But you have to find a buyer willing to accept that condition. As a new seller with no history on TRF, that may not happen.

Maybe a face to face transaction. Find a secure location. Keep your eye on the money.

You must be a TRF pledge member before you can post in the classified forums, but that is not a venting process.
