Would not trade any Rolex watch for a can of fizzy soda called sprite.

It looks as you’ve tried the VTNR on which is a good thing.

They wear quite a bit differently as I’m sure you noticed ….

That said, I’d add the VTNR if at all possible.

If you want to go that route, maybe SS GRNR is a better choice. Almost the next best thing to a SubD.

I traded my 114060 and my 116610 for a VTNR and a BLNR about a 16 months ago. I got $8,500 and $9,500 respectively. The GMT's were $11,450 and $10,700 respectively.
I never looked back. I wear the VTNR almost every day, and the BLNR is planned for one of my sons. I am left handed and I do wear my watches on my right wrist, so that does make a difference. If you want the VTNR or any of the GMT's, go for it.

I have owned both and if a one or the other I would keep the Submariner. For me the best watch in the Rolex lineup and the cornerstone of my collection.

Yes I would do it. I had a Sub and got a call for the BLNR on oyster. The GMT is just a more interesting watch and wears much better than the sub.

Stay with the Sub. I have a BLNR and my no date sub goes with everything. I’m not a big fan of the “lefty” either. Sub is the most consistent watch IMO.

I love your Sub and I also love the Sprite, especially on Jubilee! Two very different watches and I think both worth having in a collection. I wouldn't let the Sub go and ADD the Sprite. I gotta feeling you'll regret it later if you trade the Sub in.

Although I love the Sub, in my opinion, the new 124/126's wear too bulky compared to the GMT's. The clasp and case wears so much nicer on the GMT's. I have been rocking the Sprite on oyster as my daily for several months now, and have to say it is one of the most comfortable Rolex's out there.

Keep the Sub ND. Have the Sub and love it; my dad is a lefty and has the Sprint.

Can’t speak to the money side of the equation, but I would definitely rather own a VTNR than a 12 series SS Sub.

Keep the Sub, very clean look and goes with everything, the VTNR is an acquired taste?
I’m a lefty and it took some getting used to it. A beautiful piece, different!

Cheers,

I had a 114060 Sub and added the VTNR to the collection last year. I found that the VTNR saw the majority of the wrist time and the Sub became a little "boring" to me, so I let it go towards another piece with zero regrets.

If you wear your watch on your left wrist like in your photo, I would not. Also, for some reason, the green/black bezel doesn't quite work for me on this watch. The Sub looks great on you!

Swap, easy. No brainer, best GMT on the market , highly likely discontinued 2025 with impending 70th Anniversary piece on the way …
