Define small stuff, because if I paid this kind of insane premium for 10 characters stamped on a 5711, I would expect it to at least look like someone took the time to do it properly. If I were PP, I would be embarrassed that folks at Tiffany would slap it on there like that and sell to customers.

I understand people pay a premium for the stamp in the secondary market but you sound like Tiffany charges extra for the stamp?! If so how much? Just curious, not that I want one...

I was always under the impression it was going to be more than a 5711/12/etc from the AD. Either way, they still know the value it places on the watch and the supposed importance/significance of that relationship between the two brands. To just slap it on there is ridiculous.

It’s same price. It’s a normal AD. I’ve gotten over it.

Your watch. Your prerogative. And you can always change your mind if it starts to bother you at some point in the future. People pay the premium with T&Co because they know T&Co will take care of them if there’s a problem such as this.

You should start a thread about it. Oh wait, you’ve never started a thread about anything on TRF. Never mind.

In 25+ years it'll sell for 2x the highest 5711/1R sale at auction due to being a one-of-one "mistake."

Peace can be bought with future / implied money, I suppose. :)

I remember the days when the Tiffany watchcase in NY was sight to behold with all the high end brands of the time in the case. Its really a shame they went basically private label on watches.

This watch isn’t going to be sold. It’s going to be passed down. At a minimum 2 generations out

You are going to be passing down a crooked stamped watch, come on - think of the children!

That's correct.

In fact, I think it's just the NYC Boutique (main salon), SF, and Houston. Though, they all come from the NYC Boutique (all allocations, and potentially even the decision of who gets what).

That's it. Nowhere else in the world.

Tiffany stamp Pateks are really a US thing. Most Patek collectors I know outside the US don't care, and in fact are a bit insulted that such a masterpiece would get besmirched in this way. (Not my opinion.)

Beverly Hills CA Tiffany sells Patek with the Tiffany stamp.

Actually Houston no longer has the Patek salon...they were removed from the list of Tiffany locations along with the Atlanta store.

If you have to look that hard then I have to ask, where’s the beef? Since you’re “bulking” did you eat all of it?

I don’t get it.

And that’s why you’ve never started a thread? Doesn’t add up. But keep posting those clever comments so we can all learn from you.
