Visiting Munich & Heathrow
Good evening gents. Will be visiting Munich next week, and flying back to Dubai out of Heathrow. What’s the current situation like for SS pieces in both these places? Any miracles happen lately like a first time buyer walking in and picking up a Daytona C on display One of the posts from last year didn’t paint a very rosy picture about Munich, and it has been a while since I heard about any miracles at Heathrow...still thought I’d ask the question as it’s customary for all newbies to do so....

In Munich the chances are rather low. it’s way more likely to be successful in smaller, less “rich” cities.

Was in Munich 2 months ago and went into many of the ADs.
No chance what so ever of SS watches....... was even worse then UK ADs. Heathrow seem to have DDs and DJs, at least on display. Last time I asked about SS (over the summer), guy laughed at me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Visiting Munich & Heathrow
No SS in Munich as of two months ago. Even the specialized Rolex/Patek Bucherer location was sad to walk into..
I did manage to snag a Tudor Bucherer BB bronze while I was there so not too shabby for me at least! |

Visited Munch last summer, got told "Please go back to your home country and buy Rolex there. We do not sell to visitors. Enjoy your vacation with your family!"

How do they allocate SS pieces for Heathrow? Since they're all WoS across the different terminals, will they look at your records with WoS before potentially allowing you to buy it?

Good question!! I do wonder if they ever get any SS pieces - SA told me they don’t get any when I asked over the summer. I assume they don’t have any clients like a normal AD so why would WOS allocate any hard to get pieces for passing trade? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
