PM GMT availability in the UK

Just wondered if any UK members had purchased a white gold GMT Pepsi blue dial from an AD recently and if so was curious to learn about availability etc.

The only reason I ask is that a UK dealer (non AD) has one advertised on Instagram at £38,950- UK list at the AD is £28,250

That’s more than £10k over list!

To me that’s just plain crazy.

I suppose if they are difficult to source and are wait listed and someone really really wants one then ‘fair enough’ but I honestly thought PM pieces were generally still readily available even with a bit of discount - no?

Interested to hear any recent buying experiences

Haven’t purchased a blue dial one but did recently get the meteorite variant. I’ve got a good relationship with my AD so I had the first one that came in and have been as recent as last week that they’ve not had another since...I’d assume that the blue might be similar in availability.

Oh, and the subject of discount...a big fat NO on any PM sports watches. The last time I did get one was off my Daytona OF but it was more a gesture rather than what you would call a discount.

Yep, suspect this is correct. I got an ok discount on my Daytona OF but that was down to me having done a lot of business with them over the years, not sure it would have been offered otherwise.

They don’t discount Rolex at AD often now

But that grey dealer is trying it on. They offered me £26k for mine so are trying to make £12,950 or so on that one.

They certainly won’t be paying over list for it
