Total stunner....

If you really can’t decide, how ‘bout thinking of it as switching one watch on a strap for another? The Patek will pair nicely with the DD2.

It seems obvious neither of these 2 watches are your favorites.

If you trade the DDII you will question the choice. If you trade the AP, you will question the choice.

If it were me, I would get rid of them both and be done with it.

I like the comment of one chronograph on a strap for another. IMO you're upgrading the collection, would the RO still get wrist time? If not I would let it go!

Out of those 2 I'd dump the AP.

I've owned both these watches in the past and sold them, eventually for a Patek as well, so I'd just choose which one you feel the least. Which PP are you after?

I'd trade both for the Patek!!!! In all seriousness, I think the DD goes between the two.

I agree and in the long haul the Rolex being full gold will be worth more. Keep the. Day Date.

Actually, unless I'm missing something, isn't that a DD2? If so, it's discontinued as well, so I'm not sure I understand your logic of it's not going anywhere.

I would keep it, IMO, unless you don't love it anymore.

Ah, I see the 5170p, well that's a great choice. Keep the DD2 then as it has the bracelet, the AP leather strap was bit flimsy for the PM weight, presume better balance on the PP strap.

For sure you can loose the AP. Rolex has a more executive look to it.

That DD is a beauty! I’d keep that and dump the AP.
