Consider the Sundust diamond dial with the everose TT.

Ask. I thought to buy my wife 2-tone ladies DJ, but when in store, she saw 26mm green OP and she couldn't get her eyes of that one, so guess which one she has now?

First one, for sure! Its 12k!

With the rest of the money you get yourself an OP. 😃

I vote fluted as well. It's the perfect complement to the diamond indices. The second one just feels like it's trying too hard. Also, the fluted bezel creates a very nice sparkling effect, it still looks very elegant without being blingy. And as the previous poster stated, use the money you save towards something nice for yourself, win-win .

I like the first one. And if she has a Breitling with a diamond bezel, the fluted is a nice change to that.

My wife saw this one at the Harrod's Boutique at LHR in September. Fortunately, she seems to have forgotten about it for now.

Well I pulled the trigger on the Diamond Bezel. Personally I like the fluted bezel better, but I think it was the diamonds that got her interested in having a Rolex finally! And the last thing I want to do is get her a $12K watch and have her be disappointed! Better to be safe with the diamond bezel, and that's the one she keeps coming back to anyway.

No discount from the AD, alas, but he said if we bring it back within 14 days after Christmas, with the plastic still on it, that they'll exchange it for the other one and refund the difference. So there's an escape valve if she changes her mind yet again...

My first PM (and Diamond) Rolex! Well, not mine I guess, but I get to live vicariously thru the purchase. I'll post pictures on her wrist after Christmas, for now I had them put it in the vault at the AD and I'll pick it up a week or two before I give it to her.

Thanks for the opinions, everyone.

-Dan

My wife loves her diamond bezel. Agree that asking her is the best route.

I hope she likes it. I brought home one with the sun dust dial on trial basis and returned it because it was hard to see the time. Hands too close to the same color as dial. Hope she doesn’t have the same problem.

Well at least you have a way out. I like the first one more - but happy wife happy life!

Be thankful if she wants to swap it for the other model. IMO that diamond bezel is a bit overkill and not worth the extra $$.

My mom, wife, and MIL didn't get the diamond bezel out of fear of dislodging one of the stones if they whack it against something.
