The needed distribution revival in United States only, but not altogether as a manufacture. And yes - quartz hurt every manufacturer, there is nothing wrong with getting their pockets deepened by Swatch Group. By the way, there are talks of AP being bought by the LVHM Luxury Group - do you think it will happen?

Pretty sure I might sell a kidney or at least a couple of watches (besides my Rolex) for this watch:

Thanks!
You have to remember - the biggest market for Breguet is in Europe, so US does not get the absolute best pieces. Moscow, in particular, but also Paris and Geneva have amazing Breguet boutiques that actually have the nicer pieces. And the finish is definitely up par on those. Check out Breguet.ch - it is absolutely amazing! If you pick up a lower-level Patek, say a simple Gondolo, the finish on it isn't anywhere near the finish on the Sky-Moon, wouldn't you agree?

Okay, I may have to have that watch. What do you need? Car? An 8 year old golden retriever? A couple of older cell phones?
Seriously - that is an amazing looking watch, especially in that pic.

I think it's difficult to make conclusive generalizations across an entire brand's range, but at the same time, I've heard very few collectors or watchmakers place Breguet at the same level as PP, VC, AP or Lange. On this issue, I'm deferring to Philipe Dufour...who wears a Lange.

I totally disagree. . .
I think there is no one to one correlation between expensive watches, just as high-end sports cars. I've driven through neighborhoods with $5M+ dollar homes, and I've seen everything from Porsches to POS minivans and Ford trucks. I think a lot of it is what you enjoy, like the guy next door who has a $25K audio system and a 997 911S, and yet wears a Casio.

One of my dream watches is a PP 5124G. It might actually be within my grasp one day also, although I dont know where I'd wear it...
