Completely Original Rolex 36mm Mens President 1803 - Box and Punched Papers

Available for sale is a Rolex 36mm 18k Yellow Gold President Reference 1803. This example 3.9 Serial dating the watch to 1976. The dial on this watch is absolutely spectacular, it is 44 years old and still flickers in the sunlight - this dial will leave you starring at your wrist for hours. It is also neat in that it comes with the original Punched papers (matching the serial number on the actual watch) and the papers are blank which means if you really wanted to you could fill it out to your name.

Case: 36 mm 18K Gold case in good overall condition, no major scuffs or distractions. Previously polished and shows signs of wear.

Bezel: 18K Gold Rolex bezel in good overall condition.

Dial/Hands: Original 'off white dial' with stick baton markers. The dial is attractive and free of any marks or distractions. Hands look like new as the left the Rolex factory

Caseback: Nice condition original caseback with no issues.

Movement: Rolex caliber 1556 Automatic movement. This was the very last year of this movement before Rolex changed to the 3055 movement in 1977. Service history is unknown. This piece has been tested on our timegrapher and runs +2 Seconds a day, which is well within the COSC standards.

Bracelet/Strap: Original 18K Yellow Gold Presidential bracelet in nice overall condition, though shows signs of average stretch. This is to be expected with a 45 year old watch. The bracelet is unpolished and shows signs of previous wear. We have left the watch unpolished to allow the future owner to decide if they would like to leave it original or to have it polished. That said, the bracelet and crown have not been over polished like many other older presidents. Bracelet will fit up to a 7.75″wrist
