I’m just glad you worded it correctly....“Submariner and Submariner Date”
Instead of Submariner and Submariner No Date! |

I haven't seen one in the last six months and have gone about six times to the local ads

Was a shorter search/wait for me to pickup a Submariner via a local AD than a Sub Date in the Bay Area.

From my experience I think distribution is pretty equal between the two.

A couple years ago I used to see more Sub dates than Submariners in cases. Now the only subs I’m seeing are PM.

I agree with dbao. More Sub dates are produced but more demand for them. I kept hearing TT versions were less popular, possibly due to the price so I picked up a bluesy from C24. I think I actually like it way more than a standard Sub Date.

I am no expert, but if you were offered either one you are a Lucky Son Of a Gun! My preference is no date, because I like the cleaner look.

Sub date is a little bit harder to get but if I’m honest it’s almost impossible to get either of those in London. I tired it for over a year now and recently bought an Omega instead. I refuse to go grey or play AD games and couldn’t be happier with my new watch.
