Has anyone with a plethora of stainless sports models and a great AD relationship been asked to "retrieve" a grail watch for a fellow enthusiast in this forum? Flippers of goodwill Robinhoods out there?

Yes. I've done so for my close friends, and my close friends in turn have done the same for me in Patek.

Ironically yes...its even been for car allocations . Granted its not me buying and selling, but introducing them direct to GM to make sure they actually get one.

Yes, Alan (fellow TRFr) helped me get a JC DSSD....otherwise, I won't have a chance here in my area with no purchase history. Contacted him here and was very willing to help. He helped a bunch of locals here as well when AD calls him with SS sport availability. No strings attached.

Not yet! But I did steer a TRF member to my AD/SA -- they hooked up on an Explorer deal a few weeks ago. He had to pre order/pay a deposit but the watch came in sooner than expected.
