Thinking about a bluesy - which one?

This blue dial deserve full unobstructed visibility and with the new “confirmed” AR quoting on the new generation of SUBs this bluesy is gonna look even better.
I can’t wait to try it on next week.

i am not sure, but your wrist size may fit the 5 digit bluesy better. Choosing between the 116613 and 126613 i would skip the discontinued 116613 because the case may look too large where as the new model balances the lugs, lug width , to appear more cohesive in the design. The new watch definitely looks bigger, but your wrist size may be able to pull it off. otherwise back to 5 digit.

Was annoyed with changing to white lettering ,but saw it in the metal and it works very well in the design .

If I was spending your money on something for me I would go with the new 12 series, the 126613LB being in my view the only aesthetically gorgeous offering in the new Sub range. Although only theoretically, because I have the 116613LB, which is a lovely thing and in no need of "upgrading".

Actually, the new movement might not be such an upgrade. But the 3235 isn't exactly failing by the thousand. Many happy owners but a pain if it happens to you.

Yeah -- preowned 16613s are going in the $9-10K range. With the new 126613 MSRP @ $14K, that's not that much more for the latest and greatest.

The 126613LB, best of both worlds. It's proportionate like the 16613 and comes with the latest upgrades.

The Bluesy is a stunner of a Sub. I wore one for over 15 years. That said, I am not sure I would (or need) to pay a inflated price to get the Bluesy greatness. The classic Bluesy in the mid/late 90’s will give you all the “pop” you need and can be had at a great price point. If we were paying msrp I would go with a super case to get the ceramic bezel but wouldn’t want to spend much more than that. It’s a awesome looking watch that is “FLASHY”.

For the new model I'd buy for retail. A 5 digit would have to be pre owned for obvious reasons. I had a convo with my AD to ask them to put me down for the 126613

126613LB. The wider bracelet/thinner lugs looks best with the SS/YG TT, IMHO.

For me, the 5 digit is out. For that money, I prefer the upgrades of the 6 series TT (11 or 12).

Now, a full YG Sub? That would be tougher, as I think the full YG 5 series has a certain charm.

Was contacted by SA at local AD to ask if I wanted to purchase on of the last 116613's that they had. Given the improved proportions of the newer model -- I told them I'd hold out for the latest model.

Appreciated the consideration though
