The sea dweller is such a better watch. The thickness of the DSSD is ridiculous and the bracelet is so narrow. The SD43 has so much better balance in terms of the design and fit because of the width of the bracelet. When the SD43 came out you saw many DSSD owners bail and buy the SD43. Plus the dial on SD43 with the red accent is a great touch and might make it more desirable in the future.

And didn't Rolex fix the issues with the narrow bracelet like two years ago?

The SD43 is a celebration of the Sea-Dweller, a culmination of 50 years of professional diving, a natural progression of the lineage and a modern interpretation of what the SD means today. It's still restrained and remains reasonable.

The Deepsea on the other hand is a kraken, a monster of the deep totally off the chart. Tons of personality for sure. Would I wear one? Probably not.
