No Arabic Numerals

I have noticed, Rolex got rid of arabic numerals for all male models. Gold and two-tone daytonas, as well as all the other watches like date just 41 and 36, and sky dweller. Of course, nobody knows why they went this route. But I would be interested in hearing any thoughts why that could be the case. By ararabic of course i mean the regular numbers "315" not the al-arabhi "٤٧٦" that would be a different topic :)

Maybe the reason they eliminated them is that they are ugly and make the watch look cluttered? Just saying...

(Just joking, no flames please!)

I do like them on the Daytona as numbers seem to go with a racing dial.

The Explorer and Air King are pretty big exceptions to this.

I love Arabic numbers on watches and that Daytona in the OP is one of my favorite Rolexes. I was very close to buying one a few years back.

I would rather have arabic numbers than Roman numerals if I had to choose one form over another.

No Arabic Numerals

I believe the Air King is no longer the black sheep of the family, and it's gotten far more praise than short shrift since it was brought into the "Superlative Chronometer" fold.

Love arabic numerals! I had this datejust and sold it and purchased it again for it's numerals and more rarer less common decorated arabic dial.

If they made datejust's with actual arabic numbers it would be great! Maybe even in platinum as a special edition.
