Description:

This is the Cartier Tank Obus 2380. The Obus model stands out from the rest of the Tank line due to its square case shape as the Tank is often associated with the traditional rectangular case size. This timepiece houses Cartier’s Cal 430MC, which is a decorated version of Piaget’s Cal 430P. It has a gorgeous guilloche dial with roman numerals and the traditional Cartier blue sword hands with their signature blue carbochrome crown. The movement can be seen from the display caseback. Staying with the military theme, Obus means artillery in French and the lugs are shaped like bullets. This model was released as part of the storied Collection Privee Cartier Paris (CPCP) collection which have recently rocketed in collectability.
