I never had any issues with the clasp. What’s better compared with the original?

Good Looking bro!

When I was at the Patek Service Center to add a 1.5 link last week, they advised me to remove all the blue stickers at the clasp because over time they will stick to the clasp and will be harder to remove in future. It was just an advice and they did not not enforce or anything. Thought I just share with you. Cheers bro!

....^^^... (Not mine see sample photo) The old one has alignment issue over time, if open and close incorrectly or wear and tear due to open & close often.....

The new one look a lot better.... Open & Close of the clasp is very smooth on the new one...

If you have a chance check it out and you know what I mean.....

Thank buddy....

Each case is different.....

Patek has strict policy now.... Just like the special color strap, such as khaki & red....

I don't blame them and understand why Patek has stopped selling those parts because people flipping them for a profit......

https://www.chrono24.com/patekphilip...60959.htm#gref

...^^^....Check this out someone selling the new Aquanaut clasp for $2805....^^^...

Thank you brother for the compliment and the warning regarding the stickers.....

I was exciting plus my wife was rush me because she the one taking the pictures... The sticker already removed...... It would be silly to wear the blue sticker plus is discomfort to my skin.....

Very nice. I think I like the new clasp more also with the quick release overall. No complaints with comfort from me and just easier to release. Looks good my man!

Congrats and the 5167 looks awesome

Newbie PP (whenever i can get one :) of course)

Curious, so you're saying that this new clasp will be on all SS Aquanauts (including the 5167? or just 5168 and 5958?

Is the main difference is that it appears to be?
change in design (symbol on the underside)
change to some kind of spring loaded mechanism instead of friction-based

Good one my friend......^^^...

I do love the bracelet.... The best part is most people in public don't know what it is....... Unlike the rubber strap most people now days know what it is, blame & thanks to social media....

Nonetheless is great to have both, bracelet & rubber......

Thanks buddy......

I upgrade the new clasp on my 5167.....

Unfortunately the new clasp is not available on the 5167 & 5164......

As for now it only available on 5168 & 5968....

To give you an idea of the new clasp how it operate and function it the same as the AP Royal Oak & VC Overseas clasp.... Which I think is the big improvement for Patek Philippe.....

Thanks !

Very interesting on the clasp and which models they go on.

Hopefully, Patek will begin swapping out the 5167/5164 clasp with the new clasp in the future
