Beware of David Collection Antwerp / Misrepresenting of Daytona watch
Since i was in communication with this dealer id like to warn everyone about the shady business of the seller David Collection from Antwerp.
The dealer is currently listing this Rolex Daytona for sale: https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/dayto...id15394927.htm The watch has the sought after green dial and is allegedly from 2018 and in mint condition. If you inspect the watch closer, you will see that the watch comes with a pre 2015 guarantee card but post 2015 box and manuals. Also, the watch has a red caseback sticker, which means it was serviced not too long ago. I asked the seller about these inconsistencies but he still claimed that this was a 2018 watch and everything is ok with the watch. Avoid this listing and the seller at all costs! |

I suggest you report to Chrono24 as well, let them look into it. If you can save someone, why not? ;)
Thanks for posting here. |

Just looking at the sellers feedback would turn me away from purchasing anything from them.

Reading through some of the reviews is enough to stay away. Sloppy if nothing else. For that level of money (or any level actually) I would go AD or highly reputable trusted sellers from TRF.

Looks like this is one of those dealers that sells watches that they do not have in stock. They post photos from other dealers and source the watch after receiving payment, what explains that the watch they send out often does not match the desciption.

Bought a watch (AP) from David Collection that didnt work. The seller denied everything and claimed it was I my fault. After 1000 emails and phonecalls they gave me a refund (not the whole amount, but I just couldnt waste more time on it). I had to threaten with posting the story on every singel watch site before the money was returned. Worst experience I´ve EVER had with a dealer.
It also said "box and papers" in the add - that was a home made invoice and a box from another AP. NEVER buy anything from this dealer. |
