Camp out in front of the store until you get your watch.

Well I've got 600k to blow through in the next 4,5,6,7 years I have to live. I have sufficient income to live on over and above that. Instead of leaving that money to cousins I plan on blowing it all on gambling, booze , whores. private sex shows, gifts, overpriced meals and cars, etc. including over six figures in watches. My OP, at least 1 TT skydweller, maybe a couple. Maybe a TT or gold sub. Maybe a JLC reverso. Certainly a DD, maybe a couple. Not looking to trade any in, I will die with all of them plus my TT DJ.
They are objects of love for me not $$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Would I be "wise" if I hoarded that money and left it to cousins?
If you really believe that maybe you should ponder if you are "a wise man or an idiot."

I just periodically keep in touch with my AD. I don't hound. I don't think any one in any line of work wants to deal with a pain in the ass badgering them. I buy stuff for my wife on occasion, but there are definitely people that blow my spending level away. My SA is cool and just makes my case to the store owner when the time comes. They've managed to get me a 126710BLNR, an 116500LN, and a 126610LV in a pretty short period of time, which is ironic because the one watch I have been asking for since the start is not on that list.

That i would agree with you is a very wise desicion.
You made the cash. You spend the cash. Why leave it for someone you dont really care about if I remeber your post about the OP right?

My point was that someones right way is anothers idiot.
Only the person him/herself know what is the right way to go.

I hope you are able to stand up,dress yourself, eat on your own and wipe your butt afterwards until its time to check out.

And yes of course enjoy every single day until then doing exactly what you want

Yeah. I know more about their lives, families, hobby's etc. of some of the store staff than I do about the store itself or about Rolex. It takes time, visits and spending. Walking in with a wad and a shopping list or pestering won't get it done at my AD.

The etiquette is easy, you keep spending a lot of money at the store over and over again, that’s how you get the watch you want..

Lol, but the reverse is always the case.

I try to keep tabs about every hour or so... This has worked very well for me and many others.

Sometimes hiding in the ADs home and surprising them with freshly brewed coffee in the morning really gets their attention.

Building superficial relationships in hopes to have a chance at purchasing a watch at a retail isn't something that resonates with me

Will you bring something to your AD when visiting, like chocolate, a cake, candy.... Just to show you appreciate their help.

I'm going to email my AD monthly, and visit if I happen to be in the area, but that seems unlikely in the near future. My SA already said that I'll get the first Explorer they get, so I'm just waiting.

I don't think so. Just seems weird.

May your use of funds ultimately be proven idiotic simply by virtue of your living a decade or two beyond expectations

I have to laugh at some of the suggestions. Why don’t you just buy them a Mercedes? That’ll be sure to show your investment in the “relationship”

LOL, what about the daily jelly filled donuts? I find they work better than the powdery ones.
