Submariner 16803. What do you think?

Comes with papers and box.
Lightly polished.
They are asking 11,000$

I like it.
I had a 16803 years ago and sold it to fund another purchase at the time.
Still liked it very much though.
I did come back to the model and currently have a 16613 bluesy with the SEL gold through bracelet.
Fun watch, enjoy it well if you go for it.

I have a blue 16803 that I keep telling myself I should sell ... and immediately tell myself that I am a fool for thinking that. Something about the more obscure, transitional models just does it for me.

It isn't what anybody on a small Forum may think, it's what you think.

Values abound throughout the Internet, they are literally everywhere

How does $11k compare to the SS version? Then you can decide if TT is worth a premium or discount to you.

Yes, TT watches are definitely not as desirable. That's pretty much true across the board.

Keep looking, after a quick look ss/18k subs seem to be around 10-12k which means you have plenty of watches to choose from.

Are you dead set on black vs blue?

Ya I really like black.
This one is 10600$ USD.
Are you passing because of the condition?

I'd keep looking, think you could find a sharper one. The bezel teeth are a bit smooth and the lug hole in your photo seems more oval than I'd like.

That said, I'm very sensitive to case condition so that drives a good bit of my decision making on purchases (others might be less so).

If you like it buy it but looks over polished and the bracelet is way too stretched

I like the model I would not buy this particular one for the reasons stated above.
