Submariner 16803. What do you think?
Comes with papers and box.
Lightly polished. They are asking 11,000$ |

I like it.
I had a 16803 years ago and sold it to fund another purchase at the time. Still liked it very much though. I did come back to the model and currently have a 16613 bluesy with the SEL gold through bracelet. Fun watch, enjoy it well if you go for it. |

I have a blue 16803 that I keep telling myself I should sell ... and immediately tell myself that I am a fool for thinking that. Something about the more obscure, transitional models just does it for me.

What do you think of the price of 11,000 with box and papers?

How does $11k compare to the SS version? Then you can decide if TT is worth a premium or discount to you.

Yes, TT watches are definitely not as desirable. That's pretty much true across the board.

Keep looking, after a quick look ss/18k subs seem to be around 10-12k which means you have plenty of watches to choose from.
Are you dead set on black vs blue? |

Ya I really like black.
This one is 10600$ USD. Are you passing because of the condition? |

I'd keep looking, think you could find a sharper one. The bezel teeth are a bit smooth and the lug hole in your photo seems more oval than I'd like.
That said, I'm very sensitive to case condition so that drives a good bit of my decision making on purchases (others might be less so). |

If you like it buy it but looks over polished and the bracelet is way too stretched

I like the model I would not buy this particular one for the reasons stated above.
