If this were 4 years ago, then Rolex rereleasing a fresh version of a discontinued watch could lower the value of the original.
In todays market it simply doesn’t matter. The new version would be nearly impossible to buy and would be handed out as reward watches for AD VIPs. The fact the replacement watch is unobtainable would keep the original watches value intact. |

When I bought my Hulk in 2016 I bought it because I like it not because of the hype or resale value, it cost me then $7,760 after discount and I still have till This day and intend to keep it forever.
With regard to the new Hulk it will have zero impact on me personally, I like the thicker lugs and I think the bigger case goes well with the Hulk, you don't want a thin Hulk now would you? Having said that, I don't think Rolex will be releasing a new Hulk anytime soon not to mention many of the leaked models do not look legit noting that the prices of Hulk might even skyrocket if these leaks were indeed fake. |

In the event these are real (and I’m still not convinced), here’s one potential scenario:
A) rose gold blue dial actual replaces yellow gold blue dial B) hulk is a new white gold variant C) then, steel hulk increases further, and existing yellow gold blue dial owners actually see the biggest increases… Seems way too soon to discontinue the yellow gold blue dial, but just throwing this out as a scenario to consider. I own a hulk and whether or not they release a new on, doesn’t really impact me since selling it never occurs to me. |

Anyone who is upset about this should realize that Rolex can rerelease any discontinued watch or increase supply of any watch they want. By buying at grey prices for investment purposes you are playing the game…sometimes you will win, sometimes you will lose.

I’m happy despite owning a Hulk. I will be happy to get the new one for my son.

Rolex reintroduced the batman on oyster bracelet with the new movement, I don't see why they would not do the same thing for the Hulk. It is my belief that Rolex does not like the grey market prices shooting up like crazy on discontinued references so reintroducing them in the lineup keeps the frenzy at bay. I hope they do the same thing as well with the stainless steel bezel Daytona, because prices on the 116520 are absolutely comical to be honest.

The LV is a Sub Date in green trim. Nobody should believe that they would make a stand-alone model.
Perhaps they will allow black or green dial options though as they do other models.
