I was thinking about making a blog with a gallery of trf member's Rolexes. This way, we could see each other's watches and see who owns what, sort of like a database. Good idea or no?

Yeah, it would be a good idea Kyle....but some members have to get to the safety deposit box to get the rest of the collection.

I suppose that you could develop your own blog... A lot of folks are doing that now-days.

But TRF already has a Watch Gallery with almost 20,000 posts of members and their watches..

Why bother as there are two watch galleries here with over 20,000 posts. This ain't no school project and you wouldn't get graded on it...go enjoy your summer instead.

I think that this is a really good idea. If done right, this could be one incredible database.

It's an great idea! If you could get every possible rolex at the moment, then add it to the catalog so people just checks which one they own. Then you can list member's user name vertically while listing the pic of the rolex they check off horizontally next to their name.

I think it's a great idea!

If it is a database it could be indexed by the watch as well as the member so you could check on a specific model and see which members own one. Great for finding members with interests in whatever watch(es) you are interested in.
