My guess is No market for rolex's in Monaco.
The people there only buy high end stuff.

To the people who live in Monaco Rolex is for council estate chavs and Trailer park trash...

Since there is no product for display, why do they need any stores?

Haha, that’s funny. I know some locals and not true among them anyway. I think their high end Rolexes go nicely with their yacht…

I was there 2 weeks ago. The AD by the Marina is moving location, the other AD is next to the Casino and had a 36mm WG DD (Blue Diamond Dial) available for purchase, everything else display models.

They will have only 1 store now. They are not ‘’moving’’.
They have only one license now.
If you look at the Rolex Website under ‘’find official jewelers’’ it appears there is only one crown in Monaco

The homeless are also amongst the people who wear Rolex in Monaco.

I’m sick of people tossing gold sovereigns in their cups.

At this point, Rolex should just sell direct via their wesbsite.

Would be a waste of money for Rolex methinks.

They already sell 100% of production before the raw materials are pulled out of the bins.

Impressive market control

Because Rolex has no need to do that.

Omega sells watches through 3 channels (AD, Boutique, E-Commerce) and their sales aren't even remotely close to what Rolex does solely through their AD channel.
