Louis Vuitton Chronograph ref Q1121
Friends, I need help learning as much as I can about the LV Q1121. Given the 20th anniversary of the tambour Louis Vuitton has released a limited edition (200pc) tribute to the original LV277 with El primero movement (just like the original). I am trying to find out which movement is in the reference Q1121, power reserve etc. Other then a very interesting story behind the design of the tambour case and the merging of the La Fabrique du Temps in 2011 there is very little information out there about the movements used in LV watches. Also, I find the reference Q1121 very close to the newest 20th anniversary edition so it would be fantastic to get that watch as I believe there is a reason why these references look similar… anyhow… DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE MOVEMENTS ???
Thank you for any information. |

You are correct in that not much information. I believe the chrono you are referring to uses a modified version of a Dubois-Depraz movement. I think these are a nice buy at under $1500. For around 3 a nice 277 can be had. If you want a 20th anniversary send me a message.
