I saw some cool looking two tones over in Paradise Island.

No idea as to the quality or resale or overall recognition in the eye of the public.

Good looking though.

They've got some good looking sport models. No way I'd buy one over a Rolex, if I was only going to have one watch.

A little late to this thread but last spring I tried on a Perpetual Calendar Manufacture, 322-10, rose gold, what a fascinating watch. 43mm, leather strap, beautiful dial, the functions clearly displayed, just terrific. I have a few other boxes to check before I take that plunge, but I really fell for it.

UN has a well-deserved reputation as a high-end watch manufacturer. They have made very high quality and accurate timepieces that have been used for sea-going navigational purposes for many decades. Many years ago when they were too small a company to make in-house movements, they would heavily modify out-sourced movements making them better in many ways. They also have many patents, and have produced quite a number of high-horology concept watches. "The Freak" being one that has become an icon.

Cool watches. Nothing incredible, but not bad at all. The Black Sea collection looks really cool to me, and the Freaks are really incredible. Many of the other divers are great as well.

Nothing wrong with UN.

I wear mine frequently....... and I like dual-time watches.

Personally I love the UN brand. They making very nice and good watches that are very hard to compare with other brands. I think its good idea for the first watch over the Omega. Their watches are produced in very small amount and for every ten Omegas there is one UN in general public. And also you can ask for a. very nice discount too. I own 2 UN skeleton X and maxi marine diver first generation and I love them both.

Yes you can see some marks on the rubber bezel. I have this watch for around 6-7 years. And all my watches have very hard life with me because I’m using them in every condition and every occasion. In my opinion is not that bad. I probably will replace the bezel during my next service but for now watch is running perfectly after last service which was 4 years ago.

Me and my dad are very big enthusiast of Ulysse Nardin brand. My watch is on the left and my father’s watch is on the right. He showed me passion for this brand and after more than 5 years of owning UN for me it’s the best watchmaker even though I own 2 Rolex watches (where a lot of people think Rolex is the best but for me it’s just boring).

The case is spectacular. Is this a aftermarket strap or it comes with the watch? I’m considering to add the freak watch to my collection as well.

I had the strap custom made for it. It’s the Bucherer Blue LE so was trying to tie a little blue on a strap to the blue in the dial. I agree the case is great and makes it one heck of a comfortable watch. If you get one be prepared for the amount of attention it attracts! Hard to not become mesmerized by the watch
