Advice needed: Submariner 1680, Oyster Perpetual Date 15010 and 15210

Hi everyone, I've been looking at a few watches and was wondering if these all look correct or do you see any red flags? What does everyone think about the price?

I will also set out information (that I've been given by the seller below).

Any advice will be very much appreciated!! Thanks very much!!

(I will post photos and details of the Oyster Perpetual Date 15010 and 15210 in replies as I cant seem to segregate the photos in the same post.)

1. Submariner 1680
From dealer; asking price around USD13400 but there is room for negotiation

Circa: 1979
40mm Stainless Steel Oyster Case
Caliber 1570, 26 Jewels Automatic Movement
20mm Lugs
Stainless Steel Oyster Bracelet

The last three photos are when I went and try on the watch. The others are product shots provided by the dealer.

Oyster Perpetual Date 15010

(2) Oyster Perpetual Date 15010

This is from an online dealer with no physical shop.

Circa late 1980s. 34mm. With box and papers (but the box is from the correct period and not the original box).

Asking price around US$3800.

Oyster Perpetual Date 15210

(3) Oyster Perpetual Date 15210

In particular I would also like to know how this compares to (2) above.

This is from the same online dealer as in (2) and the asking price is the same.

Also 34mm (I have a small wrist so this should be a good size). Circa 1997. Calibre 3135 Auto. Bracelet 78530. No box and papers.

The 1680 is overpriced for a dial with scratches on it, bracelet has no stamp needs to get looked at, fake insert.

The 1680 dial is awful. Terribly ugly lume, scratches and hand-drags on the dial, heavily corroded hands. Just unappealing example.

You should do separate threads for this and share more of what you think based on research vs. just asking for random help. Just my $.02.

1680 is a train wreck, fake insert, mangled dial… does the dealer claim it’s all original?

OP, you're asking so many questions and showing too much pictures to get anyone to be interested...

Keep it simple!

Poor condition on the 1680, definitely worth either paying up for a a better one or getting a more modern Submariner date depending on your budget.

The 15210 over the 15010.
15210 is 34mm but wears more like a 36mm, lovely watch - I've got the silver faced one and it gets more wrist time than my 14060 Sub.
