Great watch and enjoy the vacation. It’s fun to see the back and forth on the forum re: vintage bracelets and watches out in the wild in Venice. That 5513 certainly has some stories it could tell.

I wore my 116710 BLNR for a week in New Mexico for a long range event. I got sand under the rotatable bezel. Since then, I wear Explorer 2s when I’m in that environment. The watch took the abuse of the event (50 bmg), but the sand was the issue. YMMV

Thanks for explaining that. I think it does have a rivet bracelet. Sounds exactly like what you described.

Adam, since I've been waiting to go back to work, I forget the day and date all the damn time :( . I gave my little brother my SKX. I may need to pick up another Seiko diver. During COVID lockdown, it was very useful.

I love my BLRO and it’s my daily, however the Daytona is another great travel watch: the chrono can be used to track a second time zone as well, so arguably it’s more useful than the GMT. Plus it’s much lighter and comfortable on the wrist than the GMT jubilee, in my opinion.

That said, as mentioned before, the BLRO is my daily so that means something :)

Yeah, gotta admit, this is why my SKX and my Grand Seiko SBGT235 get most of my wrist time
