On the way :)

SPB333. Let’s see if this will be the Seiko that stays in my collection! I’ve had issues with proper fit or style/color too similar to my definite “keepers”.
If it’s a keeper, it’ll show up in a WRUW thread.
Again, Seiko claims limited edition yet 5,000 are being made.

Congrats, Janet! Another great looking watch that I'm sure will look even better in person. Stunning dial and what appears to be a ceramic bezel insert. Hoping this one fits better than the last. Enjoy in good health.

Thanks Rommel! You are always so kind with your comments. It’s actually a metallic bezel with a striated texture on it. I’m cautiously optimistic! Lol

Good ‘ole Norma
That dial is unique to a diver. Looking forward to seeing it IRL.
How did Norma’s Christmas present to your wife go over?

I'm interested to see your incoming photos.

Andrea loves the mug. She has her morning coffee in it every day.

Sorry for making this all about Norma

No problem, Norma is adorable! And, we all know how fond of her your family is.
I’m hoping the watch won’t look like a dinner plate on me. I seem to run into that issue a lot. Maybe the watch gods are just trying to tell me to STOP buying

It’s here! I’m pleasantly surprised with the fit. The dimensions just seem to make it work for me. It doesn’t appear to look any bigger than my Sub. As you can tell, I’ve already picked out a few summer straps. Lol. The nato pic is all glare from the store lights.

Wow, it's stunning and fits you very well! Seiko has some out of this world dials, I'm blown away by that picture and assume it shows up even better in person, of course. Enjoy in good health.

Thank you everyone for your responses & kind words!

I was going to post a pic of the watch combined w/my white gold sapphire & diamond ring but Tapatalk would not let me sign in today (surprise-surprise lol). Trust me, they look nice together!. Monochrome-watches.com does a really nice review of this SPB333; labeling it as the accessible alternative to the White Birch. I also came across an article on their site on how the White Birch dial was made; for those interested it’s worth reading.

Well, I think it’s safe to say I have found my Seiko “keeper”!
Various AD’s laugh at me when prior to purchase I always ask jokingly if that particular watch will still look okay when I’m in Assisted Living @80+. It might stand out, and look too large then, but my “keepers” are going to be with me for a long time yet, just maybe not THAT long.

Remarkable attention to detail - thanks for suggesting that read. Such a lovely, unique dial and prior to this I had no idea how it was done.

Thank you!

I find myself often looking at the dial, then realizing I don’t even know what the time is. Yes, I have found my Seiko “keeper”. I like the fact it’s a dive watch too from a brand with such a storied history.

Thank you Gentlemen!

I agree that it’s a very unique/unusual dial for a diver. I think that’s where the “fun” factor comes in. :) The specs on this watch are respectable too! I’m pleasantly surprised it fits as my wrist is just shy of 6”.

Am interested to see how the “limited” edition plays out, or is it just another marketing gimmick. Ebay seems to have 3-4 models a day that get cycled through fairly quick. The AD I purchased from, that has many Seiko offerings, had to request a transfer from another store within their chain and only had 2 in stock.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone.
