GMT II bezel

Hi there from TX

New to the forum, was lurking around for several month. Now the time has come to ask a question if you don’t mind.

I’m looking at used GMT II (16710) with a few light scratches on the bezel. My question is - will (or may) Rolex change bezel (putting a new one) during one of the regular service events?

Thank you
G.

If it's not banged up too bad they will optionally offer a new one, which you can decline if you want to keep your insert.

They'll replace the bezel insert if you want (for a price), and will likely keep the scratched one. The replacement will be a service insert which may have a different font from the original. For example, the original may have the serif font and the replacement may not. Many regard the serif font as more desirable.

It's weird being the same age as old people.
