There are many variables. My local AD sold a Sub Date to a new customer with no previous purchase history, three months after he went on the list. This is more the exception than the norm. Who knows how you might fare? Try making a few enquiries.

Because they haven’t yet realised or experienced how stupid the experience of buying a watch has become. I came back to watches a year ago having not purchased for a number of years. Last time I bought, the shelves were full of subs, GMT’s, LV’s.

I expected a daytona to be difficult but I found it downright bizarre that I couldn’t walk into a shop and buy an everyday stainless steel sub. Even more bizarre that people are willing to waste thousands on stuff they don’t want to try and maybe get on a waiting list.
