DD40 - daily wear or ...?

DD40 owners - how often do you wear? What do you think of it as a daily?

I enjoy rotating and wearing my DD40 a few days a month. Could definitely be worn as a daily.

Easily one of the most comfortable watches to wear. It depends what PM as some can be a bit “flashy”. But as for comfort, YES for me

My DD40 I wear in rotation with sport models, but I don't see why you can't or wouldn't want to daily it. All depends on your daily routine...like if I was going hiking, I'd probably take a sport model with me instead of a DD. But if you're talking about, just going in the office, mall etc, then just wear it and enjoy!

I couldn’t wear mine daily as I’d probably end up dead on my driveway. It’s too blingy.

Over the last twenty years I’ve gone through 7 Day-Dates - two Oysterquartz models, one 36 mm 5-digit, one 36 mm 6 digit, a Day-Date II, and most recently a 228238 with white Roman dial. The DD-40 is by far the best. Despite its durability, reliability, and beauty, there is no way I could wear it every day.

Insure and wear daily is my opinion. It's a very comfortable watch and in the 36 inch size I never had anyone (other than a WUS) even comment on it.

WG model, so it looks like any datejust to the untrained eye. I work in an office environment, business attire (dress shirt, tie is common)

One of my favorite watches to wear and Im not a YG guy in general.
The 40 mm and white dial come off sporty and I love it!
I wear it 3-4 days a week.
Next I want a Plat DD 40 Fluted Ice Blue with Baguettes

Of course it can be a daily, why wouldn’t it? It’s just a watch, they’re all suitable for daily wear

I have owned numerous DD's over the years and never wore one daily. Out of choice, not that it could not be worn that way. I have a friend that got rid of all the watches in his collection and bought a DD with the black dial and diamond markers. It is his only watch and he wears it daily for all activities. He says he has never looked back.

Can’t be a daily wear because it’s heavy and uncomfortable on the wrist.

This was my first Rolex, purchased new in my 20s still own it and that started my relationship, was my only watch and was worn daily for 15 years, until I purchased my first SS Rolex a 16622 now I own three Day-Dates, I hope that answers your question.

Depends on your lifestyle.
I know you can wear a fancy gold, diamond, day-date swimming, surfing, hiking, biking, etc. But why not wear a cool beater watch for that stuff?

Neither one of these are my daily.. I daily wear a 116500ln white dial daytona

But it’s very often that I wear these absolute STUNNERS.. DD40 is one of my favorite watches of all time and I have my two main favorites out the current catalogue!

The platinum I wear a few times a week.. the yellow gold I wear every so often

I wear mine daily since my purchase this year.
It's a YG, 228238, most comfortable watch ever for me and I'm so in love first with the idea of wearing a DD and the feeling of the YG.
For me, the platinum is a little uncomfortable by the density, but the gold is just perfect, it's difficult to wear a SS watch after my DD !

It’s a little loud for me so I prefer to wear it when I have long sleeves.
Might make moves towards a platinum one (smooth bezel)

Sure is a gorgeous piece though
