I NEED a COLLECTIVE Prayer from all of you...

Hi guys,

This suspense is just about killing me!!!

Over a month now my Yammy's been lying with my AD open for sale. Nothing 100% positive yet....and unless that bugger goes, I can only gaze and drool all over the TT Blue Sub.

What I do need, however, is a collective prayer from all you wonderful guys...praying that Yammy goes fast and I can then pick up the Blue Subby.

So what say you guys....would you do this little favour for good ole' JJ?

Many thanks - JJ

I agree Padi. List it yourself as well JJ! On here, on the TZ Sales Corner, etc...i'm sure lots more want that watch than just the people walking by that window.

BTW, a prayer will go out!

That's a good point, Padi, but I've tried that with my previous Rollies, and the response in the past was pathetic....as were the ridiculous offers.

The ballpark figure I've given my AD is the best I could possibly get and take around 18% hit only on the watch. Any other way, the hit factor will be much more....that's if I can first find a buyer!!

Anyway, let's see what happens. Worst case scenario....hopefully before Christmas!!!

Thanks for all your good wishes, guys....you fellas are the BEST!!

Well JJ cannot see why you cannot list it for sale here. Or any other forum you know what your asking price is.And then you will have a much wider customer catch area, and it costs nothing.

I did think of that one, Padi...but what about the high cost of shipping (from my distant part of the world) PLUS insurance, etc. All that would hike up the price of the watch considerably and that really wouldn't be very fair to the buyer. Just a thought.

Thanks - JJ

JJ, when I sell stuff online, I always give the price all-in to keep it clean. I pay more for shipping of stuff so they're insured. Granted it's stuff that's under $100...

I think you can look at it two ways, you either have the selling price and absord the cost of shipping/insurance, or you negotiate a deal to split the cost of shipping/insurace with the buyer.

I'd rather pay for shipping/insurance and MOVE the watch than have it not sell, but sit depreciating in my AD's cabinet hoping someone may walk in and buy it, sometime in the future.

Oh, heavenly watch fathers and mothers, please, in your devine insight and intelligence and mercy, allow someone in your flock to turn their head after first looking skyward and observe the YM in the window, and be moved to stop and stare and offer thanks that on this day, they have the wisdom to discern the value of the YM and the earthly pleasures it might bring to own and cherish it. And heavenly string pullers, if it be thy will, make it so this learned person have the financial resources, or the unused credit limit, to purchase this YM, and cast off their dial of suns now used to see the time and thus makeith the follower known as JJ happy beyond his wildest dreams and bestow upon brother JJ the New Zealand currency in sufficient quantity to then flip to his coveted new Rolex with thine Blueish tint. Yea, though the rest of us mortals walk through the valley of Rolex with lesser examples of Rolex handiwork, please allow brother JJ the pleasure of consumating this holy transaction, so that he may go forth, and rubbeth our collective noses in his successful acquisition, posting pictures designed to bring forth the dreaded emotion of jealousy and envy, and please heavenly leaders, keep us from channeling this jealousy and envy into spite bestowed upon brother JJ, and yea, let us look down (at the Southern Hemisphere) and wish the blessings of Rolex acquisition fall upon JJ. Amen.
