This is next level watch enthusiast! I rarely look at the underside of my watches and not sure I would have caught this or cared enough to fix it. Good job!

As someone else mentioned, use care and tape to avoid those deeper gouges when changing bracelets/straps. I've gradually moved away from taking the bracelet off my watches over the past 4-5 years, so they remain pristine. I only do strap and bracelet changes on a watch with lug holes these days.

Yes I am a little upset that with a bit of planning and patience, I was able to rectify the issue to my satisfaction. But RSC specifically told me " we can't touch that, it will bleed into the high polished areas. The circular pattern was done when the case was milled and you won't get the finishing back"

I think at the end of the day, it's all about how much you care. If you don't care, then all the skills in the world wouldn't be put to use.

I'm sure the professionals at LAWW and Rolliworks would do a great job. I will definitely give them a try in the future when I need to send my watch in for servicing.

Same here. I left those scratches when I swapped the bracelet out for a G10. I haven't changed the bracelet for a very long time now. Really appreciate the advice on using tape!

I am suprised the RSC was not able to to brush this correctly. Is is a matter of rotating the case and having a brushing or stick at the right place stationair. I would take out the glas, put it on the lathe, spin it at a low RPM and do the brushing. How simple can this be?

RSC scratched around my 16710's lug holes removing the bracelet when I came by to have them replace the spring in the bezel. I've since given up on them for anything less major part replacement.
