Dawn dish soap, and water at least once a week. I get a lot of dark smudges on my wrist if I don't do it often enough. Especially in the warmer months when I'm sweating a lot. Bracelet probably needs a good ultrasonic cleaning.

I get a couple of watches typically from the safe every Monday. The ones from the previous week get a wash and go back in clean, otherwise eventually it will get messy in there and quite possible I may have issues with watches that have sat for a very long time unworn.

This is exactly what I do--except I just bring a travel shampoo bottle with "pure" Dawn and skip the mixture. I'll add a dollop of it to the watch, and give it a good wash under the sink. My wife just shakes her head when she sees me bring along this travel essential!

about 2-4 times a month, but I don't wear my nice watches when doing dirty work, I have cheaper automatics to do that stuff with, I use a soft bristle toothbrush and a tiny bit of liquid dish soap, I never shower with my watches.

I’m down to three watches and wash each once or twice a month. Warm water, dish soap and a toothbrush

I wear them in the shower, they get washed as I do. Otherwise, when I look at them and they are dirty, like when I am working in the yard, or smoking something on the grill, I take them off and wash them with dawn in the sink.

I loved this thread.
Daily of course. Every other day if too rushed.

From reading this thread, I discovered how dirty I've become. Will soon borrow my neighbor's pressure washer.

Got It, thanks. And I see I actually reversed it in my comment. Bracelet yes, watch head, no. That’s what I mean to write but came out the opposite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Whenever I change watches I wash the one going back into storage. Can be a few days….can be a few weeks.

I wipe it with a microfiber cloth every day, but only wash it once a month or so. I clean the bracelet in the ultrasonic about twice a year.

How often do you wash your underwear? How often do you wash your clothes? How often do you wash your belts?
This is such a dumb question; but I replied to the thread so I guess I'm the sucker. |

That is exactly what I do. Usually, I wash my watches with Dawn, but I also have the Wrist Clean product that I occasionally use. In between cleanings, I sometimes wipe the watch with a Zeiss lens cleaning tissue.
