The Tudor wears as nicely as my 5 and 6 digit Rolex sports models to be honest.

That’s really helpful because I agree the numbers don’t always translate into wearing experience.

WOW! Really handsome watch. Methinks I'll need to begin the search.

Love the red and black bezel, a classic looking timepiece.
Is this a model that is readily available (appears as though it maybe from OPs reference) or is there an order book? Maybe it differs country to country?

It's lovely.

Is it as lovely as my BLNR? no, but then it isn't trying to compete with it.

As a vintage influenced, smaller sized piece it's superb. I love the bezel, it's really changeable depending on the light.

The bracelet and clasp with T-fit is awesome. This micro-adjustment is to me at least, a really big deal when wearing a watch, I really miss it on my pieces without it.

Something that I love about this '58 GMT that most people don't seem to have picked up on is the tall, domed crystal. It's glorious.

Overall, very very happy.
Great write up and beautiful pics! I love that you are enjoying it for what it is as opposed to expecting it to be everything your BLNR is at almost thrice the price.

Looks like a perfect fit on the wrist James.

Maybe it’s just my aging eyes, but if I would have seen this pic 6 months ago, I would have commented “Nice S&G BBGMT”. Bracelet notwithstanding, in some pics it looks almost identical.

Looks great! If Tudor make this configuration in the 41mm case I'll be in for sure.

Those are probably the best pics I have seen of this reference. Looks fantastic on you I hope Tudor give us the 5-link bracelet option on this model.

Congrats OP.

My initial reaction when I saw this watch was that the gilt was a little too much but yours, and a few other real life photos look a lot better!

Enjoy the new watch!

Congratulations! I love it! Looks amazing on your wrist as well. Enjoy it in good health!

I think Tudor knocked it out of the park with this one. They’ve been killing it with their releases the past few years.

congrats and well done - (although I am hoping they release a variant without the gilt / faux patina next year).

I like the gilt. I’ve noticed I’m drawn to gold . My 3 most expensive watches all have gold in them.

When it came out, I was in love. Now I’m second thinking the gilt. I can’t wait to see it in the flesh. Nice pick up OP. Congrats!!

Hey! Sorry for the late reply.

Loving the new pictures that you posted. Please keep them coming. I think this is a beautiful GMT.

I would love to buy one of these but I only have space in my collection for one GMT. My absolute grail is the BLNR on jubilee. It’s always been that. So I’m slowly but surely working my way towards that.

I hope your Tudor gives you many years of enjoyment!
