Snoopy OEM Strap question
Someone online has the snoopy oem strap on deployment. When I spoke to someone at the omega store they claimed it's not made. Is that not correct? I want to buy one if it exists

The Omega rep is correct. I believe the strap being offered is part # CWZ005345. It closely resembles the Snoopy strap but is designed for a deployment buckle setup. Does it have red stitching on the underside?

Not sure. In the pics that's all he showed. Do you have a link to the strap. Is it OEM same color as the snoopy just not the exact same? I'm fine with that

They were made for the Planet Ocean. You will need the 18 mm clasp from the 1861 generation of Speedmasters. |

Omega rep is correct. There is no blue cordura deployant strap for the Snoopy. The Snoopy blue cordura tapers to 15mm and there is no blue strap tapering to a 15mm deployant. The only blue cordura that comes on a deployant tapers to 18mm. If you want a blue cordura strap tapering to 15mm, you'll need to go bespoke with Jean Rousseau. They make the straps for Omega.

Both Omar and Texas are correct. I have the deployant with strap. Under stitching is red. The deployant strap doesn’t have the earth/moon flight diagram embossing. The taper is less as mentioned to accommodate the wider buckle. It looks and feels identical on the outside to me. I have a 6.5” wrist, so I got the shorter strap which fits perfectly. My OB had the straps and deployants readily available as they always get these requests so just ask them.
Personally, I love it, and it should have come this way originally. Good luck and enjoy your timepiece! As my receipt shows: Shorter strap 0032CWZ005723 Deployant 094521883 IMG_0742.jpeg IMG_0743.jpeg IMG_0746.jpeg |

You’ll want to put it on a bracelet anyways

I put a butterfly deployant on mine as I wanted to keep the OEM strap. Works great. There are many high quality ones out there.
I just think this watch looks better on the OEM strap vs. the bracelet as it brings out the blue in the bezel and face of the watch. My opinion only. |

Congratulations! I also think the Snoopy looks best on the blue strap. The great thing about this setup is that you still get to use an official Omega deployant clasp. Although, Dave’s aftermarket clasp looks nice as well.
Omega is commendable for making it easy for customers to purchase accessories for their watches, even when those accessories are designed for different references, and without requiring an exchange of your original piece. |

Inexpensive one on Amazon, although I find the quality to be very good. Other brands can be found as well but limited due to the 16mm size. Note that I have installed similar deployants on two of my other watches on straps. On all of them, I have swapped the straps from the 12 and 6 o'clock sides as they should be with deployants. In other words, the long strap should be installed on the 12 o'clock side. You can see that in my pic above.

Or.... you can commission a blue safiano on Omega style deployant for your watch.
