Used watch prices seem to be dropping.

I"ve been watching some sites that sell used Rolex watches, they seem to be slowly going down, but definitely lowering. Waiting on that 14060M Sub myself.
Any thoughts from the people in the know?

Correct. Watch prices have been on a downward spiral since the second half of 2022.

How low do they need to be for you to pull that trigger?

Yes they are dropping.

Just let em keep sliding downward. Mass produced with more and more coming to market every day. Demand isn’t going up.

Some watch are adjusting downward while others are holding tight and a few are increasing. It is specific to the model, year, condition and completeness of the whole package. Many times I see people compare watches that are not similar in what they are. We are also getting ready to go into the Holidays and watch prices have typically surged during this time of the year to abate somewhat after the Holidays. If you can find a good example of the watch you want and at a price that works you should buy it. Nothing gets cheaper in the long run. Especially Rolex watches.

That’s pretty much the bottom line … and also don’t forget to use “irrational justification”

When prices are going down, the assumption (by and large) is that they will continue to go down. When they're going up... they will continue to go up.

At some point, neither is correct. If you've been eyeing a 14060 and it's within your budget, I'd snap one up. Eventually the pendulum will swing the other way and they'll rise again.
