Sometimes tough times become the new normal (in the case of losing a loved one for example), sometimes they are temporary and pass. Hoping you find peace and strength to deal with either.

Peaks and valleys, baby.
Can’t have the peaks without the valleys. Both are important. And the mindset can make the valleys less dramatic. Let go of what’s supposed to be, and simply handle the twists and turns as they come. You got this.

Glad to see you checking in. I can tell you that, for me, this forum has been especially useful to take a short break from the 'tough' reality and just enjoy others prosperity in the watch forums and the light-ness of the open forum. And there's so much to learn no matter which forum you're in. A really special place. Life is tough. Enjoy the escape and use it to recharge.

I hear ya. I feel like I've been bobbing and weaving since 2019 just to stay alive. I even prepared for it once I saw things falling apart. That was pre covid. It's not your imagination. Life sucks for some post covid while a lot have used it as a trampoline to the moon. I can't make sense of it either way. I'm one of the unfortunate few that couldn't exploit it. Good luck Sir!

Or a mirror reflecting your own headlight. For the OP: I have posted less lately for my own reasons - not unhappy ones. I hope the tough times you mentioned are the general ones we all experience and not some particular personal challenges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

This is often a refuge for me when things get very stressful. We all have chaotic, unexpected things happen to us. It’s very important to remain connected to others.

Sorry to hear this. I too have been going through a very hard time these last few years. The last few months in particular, have been crippling. I have made some slight adjustments to my lifestyle which seem to have helped, and it's just a case of getting through each day at a time.
Please reach out privately if you feel like you need to get anything off your chest, as Brian (brandrea) said to me on here a few weeks ago, you have a safe place to talk here. |
