AD recommendations for the new FOIS?

Not too familiar with the Omega AD game (is it similar to Rolex?) but the new FOIS is burning a hole in my eyes and I'd like to get one sooner rather than later! The local ADs can't seem to help out so I'm wondering if any of you fine TRF'ers have a recommend AD that can get me one quickly.

Thanks in advance!

My AD, who is not local to me, but high volume, said they are not expecting to see many of these for a while. They expect the first several rounds to go to the boutiques. That is not to say they won’t get any, just not many.

Sort of the same deal with the white Speedy. They just got their second batch last Friday. I think he said they have only received 8 of those total, 3 in first batch, 5 in round 2. Expect the same with the FOIS.

Call a boutique.

It's a hot piece for sure right now and at this time in limited supply...
My SA at the OMEGA boutique just told me today he gets a ton of requests daily for the FOIS and he has no idea when they will get more.

OMEGA isnt like Rolex but they will take care of existing customers first. I'd call a boutique and ask if you can get on a waiting list.

I was lucky to get one about a week after it was released... I called the day it was released and gave a deposit... FOIS was my second purchase from the boutique.

Grey market has them for around 2K over MSRP.
It's an amazing piece. Good luck!

The boutiques are getting them in small numbers but they seem to be spoken for or are selling immediately. I was told that if I wanted one it wouldn’t be a problem but I’d had to wait a bit.

I have had good luck contacting Boutiques in large but not major cities. Nashville as opposed to New York as an example. Usually after several calls, sometimes the first call, I am able to get the watch. Be ready to pay on the spot. For the White Dial Speedmaster 3861 I was asked to pay in full and I would get the watch within the week. It was the next day. I would not pay unless there was a definitive time frame for delivery. Once the Boutiques have your name and you have made a purchase most are very good at then contacting you on new releases. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Was in the NY Omega AD this week, they had a display FOIS. Sales guy said ~2-3 month wait, maybe a month longer

I think these will be boutique only for a while until the initial demand is over then will filter down to the dealer networks

I saw some out at the omega AD in Disney last Sunday. Did not ask them about them. But there was 2 or 3 in the window.

I don’t own any Omegas. But from my experience, the AD is the slowest route. They don’t get special models very quickly. I’d speak to a boutique. They do play games but the FOIS, shouldn’t be that hard to get after the initial couple months after release.

I messaged the SOHO boutique last week and got a call back the next day. Bought 1 of the 2 FOiS they had on the spot.
